In three days, the weather here is going to hit double digits. This balmy winter interlude is enough to get me scrambling to prep projects I didn’t think I’d be able to prime for a few months yet. I’ve finally got around to clipping and cleaning my squad of Chaos Marines.
In Chaos, There is Order
I don’t know about you, but with all the little bits in these kits I have no choice but to lay everything out nice and neat so I can see what I’ve got. In this particular instance, I’ve got a 10-man strong bolter-armed tactical Chaos Marine squad with a heavy bolter, a special weapons trooper I’m going to magnetize and a Tzeentch icon-bearer. I haven’t decided what to do with the unit champion yet. I’m thinking I may build combi-plasma plus power fist, but I also like plasma gun plus power sword. Sadly, I don’t think I can magnetize that power fist. The shoulder join is… odd, and it doesn’t look especially promising. If I use it, I’m stuck with it.
