So, now that I’m done I have to admit… \u00a0I’m not sure if I like it. \u00a0It’s hard to say exactly what’s causing me to not feel the love. \u00a0Maybe it’s the detailing – there are places that look like more could be done.<\/p>\n
It’s not my best work, model-wise. \u00a0I didn’t clean the model that well – mould lines are everywhere. \u00a0The skin-coloured base coat kept rubbing off the primer. \u00a0I\u00a0really<\/em> need to seal the model before I game with it. \u00a0Also, enough paint from the basecoat got into the gaps of the model that final assembly was difficult. \u00a0I’m sure you can see the gaps. \u00a0I definitely can. \u00a0If I ever do another Helbrute, I think I’ll definitely be doing it differently as far as the base coat is concerned.<\/p>\n I do like the basing. That Texture paint<\/a> from GW is awesome, and the wash and drybrush came out much better than I expected.<\/p>\n Well, it was definitely a learning experience. \u00a0Plus, it’s put me ahead for my April project.<\/p>\n
